Q: What ages can participate?
A: The club is an 18 and under program. There are traveling teams at every age group from 10 to 18 years of age. Children under 10 can try-out for the 10 and under traveling team or participate in our developmental program that runs January-March.
Q: What is the developmental program?
A: Our developmental program targets beginning players under 12 years of age. The program runs January-March. They will practice once a week and have 2 scrimmages during their season, one in February and one at the end of March.
Q: How many players are on each team?
A: A club team typically holds about 10 players on a team.
Q: How often does each team travel?
A: The travel teams will participate in 7-8 tournaments per season. 
Q: Where do the teams travel to?
A: The tournaments are mostly held in Orlando or Tampa. The National teams will participate in 2 qualifiers that
will be out of state.
Q: What are the hotel and travel policies:
A: The club books rooms for the coaches only at each tournament. It is strongly encouraged that players stay at the club hotel. Each player stays in their parent’s hotel room. Parents are responsible to get their player to the tournament and playing sites. Many of our parents share hotel rooms and carpool to save on cost.
Q: How much does the club season cost?
A: National and Regional teams differ in cost due to the different traveling schedule. For a detailed cost outline, please see the “Payment Options” below.

#1-in full, cash or check -5% off!
#2-3 equal payments charged to a Visa or MC at the signing party (TBA) then on January 1st and March 1st
This cost includes: Coaching fees, gym fees, tournament entry fees, equipment, uniforms, and a referee clinic.
It does not include family hotel rooms or travel expenses.
Q: What it the tryout process like?
A: There are 2 sessions of try-outs, JV and Varsity players in the first session, then freshman team players and younger in the second session. Players will need to register with USAV and AAU before tryouts (directions to complete these registrations will be posted under the “Tryout” link) and bring a copy of their birth certificate. Players tryout, then are contacted later that evening regarding their placement. Tryout fee is $30.00 cash or check. .
Q: How often does each team practice?
A: Each travel team will practice twice a week, once on a weeknight and once on a Sunday afternoon. 
Q: Where do the teams practice?
A: Bishop Verot High School, St. Michael’s School, Evangelical Christian School, and St. Francis Catholic School.

Q: How many qualifiers will the National teams participate in?
A: National teams will be registered for 2 qualifiers in the 2009-2010 club season. If any team would like to participate in a 3rd qualifier, it will be added and additional costs will incur.
Q: What are the differences in the National and Regional teams?
A: FUSION’s National teams are the elite teams at each age level and will participate in state tournaments as well as qualifiers at the national level. Regional teams are advanced teams that play in state and local tournaments.
Q: Are there private training sessions available?
A: Yes, private trainings are available. The cost is $40.00 for an individual private session or $30.00/player for a session with 2-3 players.
Q: Does everyone get to play the same amount of time?
A: FUSION’s playing time policy is that all players will play on Saturday for National teams. Regional team players will all have a chance to participate on both days. However, playing time may not be equal for all players on the team.
Q: How can parents participate?
A: Parents are encouraged to be fanatic fans!! Make goodie bags for the girls, banners, tee-shirts, anything to supportyour player
and her team. Parents are asked not to be on the floor at practices and to refrain from making comments to referees and
refereeing teams during tournament play.
Q: How should a player or parent approach a coach with concerns?
A: A player is welcome to approach the coach at anytime to discuss her concerns. Parents are welcome to ask a coach about their player’s development, ability, playing time, etc. We ask that parent not approach a coach directly after a match or tournament, but wait 24-48 hours. This affords all to assess the situation objectively.
