Fort Myers Volleyball Academy and Southwest Sunset are proud to announce that they have united to form Fort Myers FUSION! It is FUSION’s mission to unite the volleyball community in Fort Myers by combining local talent into one program, instead of having it divided by many. We offer several programs ranging from local leagues for beginners to high level competitive travel teams for the most experienced players. The coaching staff at FUSION is second to none having 8 of its coaches with CAP I training. FUSION coaches combine have a total of 16 years of middle school coaching experience, 36 years of high school coaching experience, and 42 years of Junior Olympic club coaching experience. Through the years our coaches have attained 2 Florida State High School Championships, 2 Florida State High School Runner-Up titles, 2 Florida Region Titles, 7 consecutive East Coast Championships, 2 AAU National Championship, 2 AAU National Runner-Up, 15 trips to the Junior Olympic Nationals with 1 National Championship and 2 National Runner-Up. FUSION coaching has produced 5 Florida High Performance Players and 52 DI, DII, DIII or NAIA collegiate athletes. In addition to training high level athletes, we are unmatched at developing young athletes ages 10U-14U having produced multiple JO, AAU, and ASICS national championships and national runners-up at these ages. Fort Myers FUSION will offer your players everything that they need to achieve their maximum potential including: jump training, position training, personal training, nutritional seminars, college recruiting seminars, and more. We are confident that our coaching staff is superior to any of those in the area and that our practices are fast paced, challenging, and teach players both the developmental skills as well as the strategy of the game. We also strive to develop the whole athlete providing them with instruction on sportsmanship, teamwork, responsibility, self-image, and motivation. It is our endeavor to keep our players and the parents up to date with the latest breaking news and volleyball subject matter that is relevant to all ages and most importantly, easy to find. This web site will give you access to information about travel, practice times & locations, photos and team profiles to make the 2009-2010 club volleyball season an enjoyable and memorable one. |
